Yes I Have A Twitter Now!!!! (22:365)

I am pretty excited because this is part of my Project365 and I never thought I would even dare get one. But here I am now, a proud owner of a Twitter account. I will try to keep it updated as much as possible, but it won't be anything like "I just stepped outside of the house." (2 seconds later) "I just opened the door to my car." Nothing like that because no one would want to read stuff like that lol!

Oh and I am also blogging this from my flickr account! How awesome is this day! check out the picture for more in depth of the story.

My Mini Food Adventure

oday I decided to take a trip around Cherry Creek mall for a mini Foodie Adventure. As I was sauntering around I was thinking to my self "Why have I not been down here more?" Then I thought about it some more and came to the conclusion that I indeed need shop in that area way more for my foodie shopping sprees.

Here she is, my favorite kitchen store in Denver. Sur La Table
Just some of the oils that they [Sur La Table] had. There were some Extra Virgin Olive Oils for like $8-$10 and great quality.
Next stop.... Whole Foods Market
Beef New York Strip Steaks. $14.99, oh how I can not wait for Football season to start. Two please!
My Whole foods bag! Go Green and stop wasting plastic! Only .99!
First time I actually went here, I found it upon accident then had no clue where it was until a friend let me in on some information which leads me to here. They have great products, I especially love their cheese selection. I will have to get a picture of it and post it for sure.

My Project 365

I would like to address that I will be posting all of my Project 365 on my flickr website here. I feel that documenting it on here would be kind of repetitive so if you would like to view my Project 365, please go to my website.

In other news, on my next off days (this Friday and Saturday) I plan on getting some great photography shots so please stay tuned!

July 19th 2010 (1:365)

As I am becoming more and more interested in photography every day. I was up until the late late (I mean like 6a.m.) looking at photos as I have created a flickr account. (click here for my link)

Looking for groups to join and different perspectives on what photography is to others I came across the group Project 365 (click for link here).

Every reason explained (in this tutorial post) is why I have decided to embark on this journey.

Important points:
  • Using my new camera every day learning its limits.
  • Becoming more creative as every day I am being forced to create something new.
  • Being able to look back at any day of the year and know what it was about with one picture.

My Camera: Sony A230 DSLR

Day 1: "........I really could not focus on producing clear and complete thoughts."

If you would like to follow more on my Project 365 journey please visit (here) as I will post only excerpts of the stories behind the photographs on here. The full stories however will be on there for everyone to read. Please feel free to comment as well for I am receptive to feedback no matter what it is.

Park Adventures

With the recent new purchase of my Sony A230 I decided to play around with it (you know start to break it in and learn how to use it to the fullest extent.) Take this as my introduction post to my post (HELLO WORLD!) I am going to just post a couple of pictures I took at the park as I am still learning how to get the most detailed and sharpest photographs. Future post though will contain more dialect from myself whether they are facts, stories, etc.

As I was focusing in on another potential photograph, this guy was walking past and threw his hands up (just like that in the photo) then asked "Can I take one?" So of course I said sure and Wa-La!

The moon while there is still light outside.

A good look scenic background to the park.
